Coverage

Every US county is tracked with one of five statuses. Coverage is partial by design and always explicit.

Statuses

StatusMeaningCovered
unavailableNot started.no
plannedA source has been identified.no
ingestingThe ingest pipeline is running.no
partialSome parcels are loaded, not the whole county.yes
completeThe full county is loaded.yes

An uncovered county is never returned as an indistinguishable empty success. The status says exactly what is happening.

National totals

GET /api/coverage returns national totals by status plus a per-state breakdown, so you can see coverage at a glance.

curl https://parcel.reeeally.ai/api/coverage
{
  "coverage_model": { "statuses": [ { "status": "partial", "meaning": "Some parcels are loaded, not the whole county." } ] },
  "totals": {
    "counties": 3144,
    "by_status": { "unavailable": 0, "planned": 0, "ingesting": 0, "partial": 0, "complete": 0 },
    "covered": 0,
    "uncovered": 3144,

  },
  "by_state": [ { "state_abbr": "CA", "state_name": "California", "total": 58, "covered": 0, "uncovered": 58, "coverage_percent": 0 } ]
}

County rows

GET /api/counties lists county coverage rows. Filter by status, by state (two-letter abbreviation or two-digit FIPS), and page with limit and offset. The response always carries totals and per-status counts, even when the filters match nothing.

curl "https://parcel.reeeally.ai/api/counties?state=CA&status=complete&limit=25"
QueryMeaning
statusOne of unavailable, planned, ingesting, partial, complete.
stateTwo-letter abbreviation (CA) or two-digit FIPS (06).
limitPage size, 1–1000. Default 100.
offsetRows to skip. Default 0.

Single county

GET /api/counties/:fips returns one tracked county by its five-digit FIPS, including source metadata, parcel count and last ingest time. An unknown FIPS is a 404; a tracked but uncovered county is a 200 whose coverage.status says so.
